The Director of the State Lottery and Gaming Control Agency (SLGA) is appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate. The SLGA Director oversees advertising and communications strategies, including the use of social media to engage new players and purchasing television and radio advertising time. In addition, the SLGA has a Records Officer who oversees all Lottery records and serves as a liaison to the State Archives. This office also manages the production of all Lottery-related advertising materials, such as posters, print and radio commercials.

And, in any case, there is no evidence to suggest that online lottery games will drive away business from brick-and-mortar lottery retailers.
